The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in social media management and content creation, a profound understanding of the health and wellness sector, and the capability to nurture relationships with agencies and partners.

The position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations & Brand Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Execution:
Formulate and implement iHerb's global social media strategy to align with overarching business goals.

Campaign Planning & Content Management:
Take ownership of social media campaign planning, content scheduling, and platform-specific initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution.

Collaboration Across Teams:
Work alongside international teams at iHerb to design and implement market-specific campaigns, partner with the Creative and Video production teams to create social media video content, and collaborate closely with our Marketplace team to drive TikTok and Meta shopping growth.

Content Creation:
Collaborate with the Creative Director, Influencer Marketing Manager, Content Strategist, Videographer, and Social Commerce team to produce engaging and informative content for our social media platforms.

Agency & Partner Relations:
Oversee relationships with domestic and international agencies to ensure seamless execution and alignment with our brand strategy.

Community Engagement:
Interact with followers, proactively engage with other social media accounts, and respond to inquiries in partnership with the Customer Experience team.

Brand Consistency:
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media channels.

Emerging Trends & Tools:
Assess new social media tools for potential integration into iHerb's strategies and stay current with social media trends and platforms.

Team Development:
Build and lead a team of social media specialists.

Internal Advocacy:
Act as an internal advocate for social media, providing guidance on policy matters and ensuring employee practices align with established guidelines.

Industry Awareness:
Stay updated on health and wellness industry trends and customer feedback to continuously refine our social media strategy.

Qualifications:
A strong grasp of social monitoring and reporting tools, such as Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social, and Bazaarvoice. Experience managing content across major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest. Proven ability to create compelling content (text, image, and video).

Excellent copywriting and communication skills. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Google products and project management tools such as Asana.

Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, ideally in a mid-to-large scale eCommerce organization or marketing agency managing similar campaigns. A digital portfolio showcasing past social media campaign examples is required.

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
