About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Marketing Data Strategy team. As a key member of our Digital Marketing and Technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive marketing data strategy that drives business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Evolve a Marketing Data Strategy: Create and implement a data-driven strategy that aligns with our business objectives and goals.
  • Lead a Team of Data Specialists: Manage and mentor a team of data specialists to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Align Marketing Data Strategy with Data Privacy Landscape: Stay up-to-date on the latest data privacy trends and regulations, and ensure our marketing data strategy is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate Partnerships and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including enterprise data teams, technology development teams, and marketing end-user teams.
  • Develop and Implement Business Intelligence Applications: Design and implement business intelligence applications and tools that provide actionable insights and drive business decisions.
  • Design and Implement Standard Processes: Develop and implement standard processes to ensure data hygiene and consistent code/data releases.
  • Identify and Resolve Technical Problems: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including developing requirements for new features and enhancements.
Qualifications
  • 6+ Years of Marketing Data Management Experience: Proven experience in marketing data management, including data strategy, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Cloud Technologies and Computing Experience: Skilled in cloud technologies and computing, including AWS Database products such as Neptune, RDS, Redshift, or Aurora.
  • People Management Experience: Proven ability to manage and develop a team of data specialists, including providing feedback and coaching.
  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relationship Management Skills: Strong relationship management skills, including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation Skills: Skilled in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and relationships, and inform business decisions.
  • Business Process Automation Experience: Experience in transforming business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation.
  • Database Management and Reporting Skills: Skilled in creating and managing databases, including documentation and database reporting for analysis and decision-making.
  • Data Visualization and Presentation Skills: Skilled in creating and presenting data visualizations, including charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards.
  • Programming and Data Analytics Skills: Skilled in programming languages such as R, and data analytics tools such as Alteryx.
