Senior Data Strategy and Analytics Leader

The Data Strategy and Analytics senior leader is a critical role for DDI's journey in advancing our data-driven culture. This individual will work with other senior leaders to develop the Data Strategy and ensure data infrastructure properly supports DDI's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to sustain and evolve its charter, building partnerships across the enterprise globally and domestically.
  • Identify KPIs and business performance metrics to improve data availability and enhance decision-making.
  • Develop data analytics and capabilities to enable data-driven insights on the market access landscape.
  • Establish data management goals, strategies, and governance models to execute data initiatives aligned with business strategies.
  • Develop and execute data and analytics strategies, leading the development of talent and partnerships in the areas of data.
  • Partner with external vendors to execute on the strategy, moving the company towards a self-service model for data.
  • Work with internal partners and data scientists to implement new ML models.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years in a data-focused leadership position.
  • 5-10 years of applied research experience involving diverse data sources and commercially focused presentations.
  • Experience translating business strategy into value creation through data strategy, with strategic data product experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience devising data strategies for a business-focused environment and communicating those strategies to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to define and adopt agile management practices into data initiatives.
  • Experience building Data Governance programs and Data Stewardship committees.
  • Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of technology involved and industry trends.
  • Experience building training programs to cultivate the organization.
  • Experience in information management project and program implementation through the full data life cycle.
  • Familiarity with big data solutions, including data lakes.
  • Familiarity with data integration and quality control.
  • Experience with creating best practices and methodologies for data management.
  • Experience with data modeling, segmentation, and visualization techniques.
  • Deep understanding of Databricks and cloud technologies.
