Position Overview

The Senior Manager of Foodservice Marketing and Trade Marketing is responsible for crafting and executing the marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics that drive profitable growth within the Foodservice sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Formulate marketing objectives and strategies tailored to enhance profitability across various channels, regularly assessing performance outcomes.
  • Market Analysis: Collect and interpret market research data to gain insights and refine business strategies by segment.
  • Communication Strategy: Collaborate with the Foodservice Marketing Associate to create and implement effective communication strategies across diverse media platforms, ensuring alignment with the Foodservice Sales Team.
  • Digital Management: Ensure that product information and specifications are consistently updated across all digital channels.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage and track the Food Show and Marketing Budget effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside the Foodservice Marketing Associate, agencies, partners, and cross-functional teams on new product initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop the Foodservice Marketing Associate.

Trade Marketing and Sales Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and communicate pricing structures for various Foodservice segments, including special bids and promotions.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the contract and claims processing system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with brokers and cross-functional teams to identify competitive opportunities and priorities.
  • Presentation Development: Create presentations for corporate and sales meetings to support the forecasting process.
  • Annual Budget Planning: Contribute to the development of the annual Foodservice Budget.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in Foodservice Management, Trade Marketing, or Marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the Foodservice industry.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Strong understanding of corporate policies and compliance.
  • Proven track record of achieving results through collaborative team efforts.
