Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our World Class Sales Team in Downriver Detroit, MI. This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting Sysco's products and services, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and driving sales growth.

Sales Responsibilities
  • Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.
  • Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on their business needs and goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, or HSD/GED and 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience. Bi-Lingual and Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience are preferred.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current automobile insurance with bodily injury liability limits of $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident, as well as property damage liability limits of $100,000.
  • Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check).
