About the Role:
This full-time position involves identifying, prospecting, and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth for specific geographic areas. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, working with field management, achieving profit results, and interacting with clients. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of proven outside direct sales experience, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. A strong understanding of the surrounding area is also essential. Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
Responsibilities:
• Develop account sales plans/approaches with Manager on a minimum of 30 target accounts.
• Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business.
• Conduct prospect, active, and inactive account sales calls independently and jointly with branch office staff and management as prioritized by Manager.
• Partner with branch office and Headquarters staff to enhance/supplement product knowledge needed to close the sale as well as implement the product solution.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous business development experience.
• At least 3 years proven outside direct sales including developing sales strategies, experience with focus in consultative and conducting cold calls, making sales solution-oriented sales approaches. presentations, closing techniques.
• Ability to understand and accurately apply a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline- basic math skills oriented environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
