Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our sales team at Universal Processing. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather Leads and Conduct Cold Calls: Identify potential clients and conduct cold calls to schedule appointments and develop new business.
  • Engage with Small-to-Medium-Sized Business Owners: Introduce our business solutions to clients and engage in conversations to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Obtain Business Information: Gather information about clients' businesses, including their current marketing strategies, payment methods, sales volume, and pricing.
  • Follow Up with Potential Clients: Engage with potential clients to further develop business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Meet and exceed required sales targets to drive revenue growth and contribute to the company's success.

Requirements:

  • Authorized to Work in the US: Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous Sales or Customer Service Experience: Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to Connect with Clients: Ability to be well-spoken and confidently connect with potential clients on the phone.
  • Aptitude for Learning: Aptitude for learning and a drive to develop your negotiation and sales skills.
