Position Title: Senior Automation Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting control strategies for sales presentations, identifying new business opportunities, and supplying clients with essential product information and services.
  • Overseeing client pricing structures, managing accounts receivable, maintaining client communications, generating profit and loss reports, ensuring quality assurance, and participating in industry networking events and trade shows.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with both prospective and existing clients. Actively seeking and investigating potential projects through various channels, including direct outreach, conference attendance, and leveraging existing networks.
  • Collaborating with branch management, project managers, and engineering teams to continuously enhance commercial account programs aimed at achieving strategic objectives.
  • Utilizing analytical and solution-oriented approaches to drive sales growth, increase volume, and enhance profitability for assigned accounts within the local market.
  • Preparing and presenting client proposals and presentations effectively.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing client proposal documents, encompassing both financial and technical components, in accordance with EMCOR Service/Mesa Energy Systems' established templates and pricing models.
  • Generating sales while adhering to defined margin levels to capture market share.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Digital Controls for HVAC systems and/or Building Automation.
  • Relevant technical background in HVAC, lighting controls, and application engineering.
  • Preferred experience with automation systems such as Distech, Alerton, JCI Metasys, and/or Delta Controls.
  • Exceptional customer presentation skills and a proven sales aptitude.
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Experience in developing both technical and cost proposals.
  • Ability to make independent decisions as required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • A competitive, articulate, goal-oriented, and high-energy individual.
