Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical reviews of drinking water operator certification applications
  • Develop and present technical certification and continuing education training events (online and in-person)

  • Provide technical assistance to water facilities
  • Interpret and apply regulations and policies
Requirements
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a natural, biological or physical science
  • Three years of experience in natural resources, environmental control, or a related area
Working Conditions

This position will work in an office setting with frequent travel on a statewide basis. Incumbents may be subject to adverse weather conditions, exposure to snakes and insects, water-borne pathogens, broken glass, rusty metal in streams, and hazards common to operation of electro-fishing equipment.

This is a full-time position with eligibility for overtime pay. The agency may authorize the selected candidate to telecommute, but the agency may terminate or modify the telecommuting arrangement at any time.
