Position Overview

AECOM is currently in search of a motivated and skilled Civil Construction Engineer to contribute to roadway and bridge construction initiatives. This role presents a valuable opportunity for professional growth while enhancing infrastructure in the region.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong interest in Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI). This role will involve supporting CEI efforts for significant transportation projects, providing essential training and mentorship to develop skills for future leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop analytical and design capabilities.
  • Conduct engineering design tasks under the guidance of a senior engineer.
  • Create designs, calculations, sketches, and final working drawings.
  • Collect and analyze data with supervision.
  • Utilize software tools to address fundamental engineering challenges.
  • Ensure work aligns with established budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TXDOT construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in roadway and structural engineering.
