Position Overview

AECOM is actively seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Construction Engineer to contribute to roadway and bridge construction initiatives.

This role presents a valuable opportunity for professional growth while enhancing infrastructure. The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong interest in Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI). This role offers the chance to assist CEI efforts for notable transportation projects. It also provides training, mentorship, and skill development necessary for future leadership roles as a Resident Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop analytical and design capabilities.
  • Conduct engineering design under the guidance of a seasoned engineer.
  • Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and detailed drawings under supervision.
  • Gather and analyze data with oversight from an experienced engineer.
  • Utilize software tools to address fundamental engineering challenges.
  • Execute tasks in alignment with established budgets and timelines under supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TXDOT construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience in roadway and structural projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Sponsorship for employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Compensation will be determined based on location and individual qualifications.
