- Collaborate with the Front End Loading Engineering Manager to develop innovative project concepts that align with site execution needs.
- Conduct comprehensive project reviews, including scope assessments and justification analyses, while preparing presentations for site and senior management.
- Provide expert technical solutions to operational challenges, leveraging your engineering expertise.
- Implement project workflows utilizing both internal and external resources for efficient project execution.
- Oversee all facets of assigned projects to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge project execution success.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate Process Safety Management reviews and manage all necessary documentation updates.
- Maintain consistent communication with site and corporate personnel regarding project status.
- Manage project scope, cost development, engineering design, drafting, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure adherence to integrated management systems, including safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Regularly participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives and complete required training programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering with a focus on instrumentation and electrical power distribution is preferred.
- Prior involvement in front-end design and detailed project functions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project execution processes and methodologies is desired.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to navigate complex problems and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of high-power electrical distribution systems and distributed control systems is a plus.
