Position Overview:

This role will report directly to the Operations Manager/Florida Regional Director and will be pivotal in supporting our clients in Tampa with estimation and management of both commercial and residential projects. The Project Manager holds significant responsibilities, including preparing estimates, overseeing daily operations, managing all personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed within the designated timeline, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with URI's protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Travel to project sites to engage with property owners, secure work authorizations, and collect necessary documentation while drafting the scope of work using Xactimate.
  2. Assess properties impacted by water, fire, and wind damage, formulating a detailed restoration plan.
  3. Manage each mitigation or reconstruction site from inception to completion, following company guidelines. This includes conducting regular quality control inspections and accurately documenting job progress.
  4. Keep property owners and clients updated on mitigation, reconstruction, and scheduling while effectively managing their expectations.
  5. Maintain an up-to-date job schedule to ensure timely project delivery.
  6. Develop budgets and facilitate the procurement of materials, supplies, labor, and equipment scheduling.
  7. Control project costs in alignment with the company's profit margin standards and assist with proactive collections.
  8. Maintain a network of subcontractors and support the onboarding of new subcontractors.
  9. Ensure adherence to the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
  10. Exhibit a willingness to travel on short notice.
  11. Understand the 24/7 demands of the restoration industry and be prepared to work outside regular business hours for on-call responsibilities or site inspections.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A High School Diploma along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Knowledge of restoration, mitigation, and/or construction practices and procedures is essential.

Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Experience with PSA and XactAnalysis is advantageous.

While IICRC and OSHA certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory for this position.

Language Proficiency:

The ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, such as construction blueprints and engineering reports, is necessary. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of writing detailed correspondence and effectively presenting information to customers, clients, and team members in small-group settings.

A valid Driver's License is required.

The candidate must undergo a background check.
