Position Overview:

The role will report directly to the Operations Manager/Florida Regional Director, focusing on estimating and managing both commercial and residential projects for our clients in Tampa. The Project Manager plays a vital role in the organization, responsible for preparing estimates, overseeing daily operations, managing personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This position entails supervising projects from inception to completion while maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with URI's protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Travel to project sites to engage with property owners, secure work authorizations, and collect necessary documentation while drafting the scope of work using Xactimate.
  2. Assess properties impacted by water, fire, and wind damage, formulating a detailed restoration plan.
  3. Oversee mitigation or reconstruction projects from start to finish, following company guidelines, including conducting regular quality control inspections and accurately documenting progress.
  4. Keep clients informed about mitigation efforts, reconstruction processes, and project timelines while managing their expectations effectively.
  5. Maintain an updated project schedule to ensure timely completion.
  6. Develop budgets and facilitate the procurement of materials, supplies, labor, and equipment scheduling.
  7. Manage project expenses to align with the company's profit margin standards and assist with proactive collections.
  8. Maintain a network of subcontractors and assist in onboarding new subcontractors.
  9. Ensure adherence to the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
  10. Exhibit a willingness to travel on short notice.
  11. Understand the 24/7 demands of the restoration industry and be prepared to work outside of regular business hours for on-call duties or site inspections.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with restoration, mitigation, and/or construction practices and procedures.

Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).

Experience with PSA and XactAnalysis is advantageous.

IICRC and OSHA certifications are preferred but not mandatory for this role.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, such as construction blueprints and engineering reports. Capable of writing detailed correspondence and effectively presenting information to clients and team members in small group settings.

Valid Driver's License is required.

Must be willing to undergo a background check.
