Position Overview:

The role will report directly to the Operations Manager/Florida Regional Director and will focus on providing estimating and project management services for our clientele in the Tampa area. The Project Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include drafting estimates, overseeing daily operations, managing personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with URI's protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to project sites to engage with property owners, secure work authorizations, and collect necessary documentation while drafting the scope of work using Xactimate.
  • Assess properties impacted by water, fire, and wind damage, and formulate a detailed restoration plan.
  • Supervise mitigation or reconstruction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with company standards through regular quality control inspections and thorough documentation of progress.
  • Maintain open communication with property owners/clients regarding project status, scheduling, and expectations management.
  • Keep an updated project schedule to guarantee timely completion.
  • Develop budgets and facilitate the procurement of materials, supplies, labor, and equipment.
  • Manage project expenditures in line with the company's profit margin expectations and assist with proactive collections.
  • Maintain a network of subcontractors and support the onboarding process for new subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures established by the company.
  • Be prepared to travel on short notice as required.
  • Understand the 24/7 nature of the restoration industry and be willing to work outside of standard business hours for on-call duties or site inspections.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with restoration, mitigation, and construction practices and procedures.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Experience with PSA and XactAnalysis is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as IICRC and OSHA are preferred but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, including construction blueprints and engineering reports. Capable of writing detailed correspondence and effectively presenting information to clients, customers, and team members in small group settings.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

A valid Driver's License is required.
