Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialist LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Communication: Greet patients professionally and respond to their inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction by efficiently managing appointments and communicating with patients and providers.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, verify financial information, and collect patient charges while expediting third-party claims.
  • Office Operations: Ensure the availability of treatment information, maintain office inventory, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a medical or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, health insurance industry practices, and medical billing procedures; exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic records systems and strong data entry skills; ability to analyze data and resolve complex problems.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent disruptions; willingness to travel to all clinic locations and work overtime hours as needed.
