Overview

The York Traffic Department is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Dispatcher Administrator. This position may require working overtime and on holidays.

The work schedule offers two options: Option 1: A four-day work week from Sunday to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM, with occasional overtime. Option 2: Three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift, with hours on Sunday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM, and Saturday from 7 AM to 11 AM, with potential for overtime. Days off will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee warehouse loading schedules to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Track and monitor Frito-Lay Drivers' DOT Hours of Service for compliance.
  • Utilize systems to update and manage ongoing trips as necessary, reallocating drivers to more urgent trips when required.
  • Communicate with local carriers regarding trips and maintain the Carrier Log for invoicing and payment reconciliation.
  • Handle CF driver call-ins for breakdowns and assist in developing actionable plans.
  • Check in company fleet and CC drivers and equipment in our systems.
  • Maintain fleet inventory through our red-tagging process.
  • Support random drug screening initiatives.
  • Follow up on post-accident safety processes and ensure completion.
  • Generate, review, and correct driver logs with drivers, providing outcomes to the Manager for accountability.
  • Occasionally assist with additional duties, including CC desk support and CF dispatch scheduling and resolution.
  • Participate in planning and organizing traffic-related functions, recognition events, and banquets.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
  • Work overtime as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is between $37,000 and $58,950.
  • Actual starting salary will be determined based on location, job-related skills, and experience.
  • Paid time off is available based on eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo provides a comprehensive benefits package for employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), and Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
