Job Summary: Penn Medicine is seeking a dedicated Clinical Services Supervisor to support the day-to-day operational needs of our outpatient practice.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled individual to assist with staffing coverage, office and medical supply inventory management, physician room assignments, and provider schedules. The Clinical Services Supervisor will provide direct oversight to the ancillary staff and support planned and unplanned vacancies to ensure optimal workflow is preserved in the clinic. The selected candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a patient-focused environment and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Practice and Clinical Manager with day-to-day operational needs, including staffing, inventory management, and provider schedules.
  • Directly manage the staff and ensure new hires are provided with adequate training to display competence.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to establish, implement, and maintain practice policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements and regulatory needs.

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant (MA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification required.
  • 5+ years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, with relevant education considered in lieu of experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to utilize critical thinking and multitask.
