Director of Sales Expansion

Bellwether Coffee is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth in new channels, verticals, and customer segments across the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating revenue and expanding sales into new markets.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated OTE for this role is $228k, with opportunities for commission-based income. This position requires on-site presence in Berkeley, CA a minimum of 3-4 times per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic annual plan in partnership with the VP of Sales and Marketing to optimize sales processes and expand contact databases.
- Create a sales playbook for new vertical processes and manage existing leads and accounts.
- Closely collaborate with the broader GTM team (sales, marketing, success, impact) and coffee team to improve overall customer experience and sales performance.
- Conduct research on target vertical business needs to inform our positioning and prioritize efforts based on product market fit.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2+ years of leadership experience generating revenue.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience bringing new products to market and expanding sales into new verticals.
