Regional Manager

University Partners is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead our student housing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the performance of select properties within our portfolio and providing strategic guidance to Community Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and maintain expenses in line with operating and capital budgets.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for Community Managers, including training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess property performance and provide guidance on leasing and marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and conditions, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Supervise Community Managers and provide support on operational and personnel issues.
  • Review and approve invoices, vendor bids, and contracts over $1,000.
  • Recommend large expense items from the repair and maintenance budget and coordinate capital expenditures with the Director of Operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Regional Manager and 5 to 10 years of prior professional experience in community management within a student housing environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Consistent day and overnight travel is required for this position.
  • Frequent extended travel (3+ nights) is required for this position.
  • This position requires nighttime and weekend accessibility due to travel schedule and projects.
