About the Role:

Southwest Business Corporation is in search of a skilled individual to manage and finalize projects efficiently, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet the defined scope. You will oversee all facets of project execution, including requirement gathering, deadline setting, responsibility assignment, and progress monitoring. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive reports for senior management regarding project status.

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with a diverse and talented group of professionals to tackle exciting and complex projects. Your responsibilities will include defining project objectives, gathering requirements, tracking progress, managing budgets, and providing clear communication to stakeholders. You will also identify and mitigate risks while developing solutions within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate teams and external partners for project execution, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Support the definition of project objectives and scope, engaging all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Gather and document project requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget, adjusting project constraints based on financial assessments.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Identify and manage risks, developing effective mitigation strategies. Measure project performance using relevant tools and techniques.
  • Enhance project-related processes and documentation.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations, ensuring all documentation requirements are met.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in project or program management, including experience in defining new programs.
  • Proficient in identifying and managing critical paths in projects.
  • Strong marketing knowledge, including promotional, content, brand, digital, social media, email, and event management.
  • Familiarity with program structuring and work planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Understanding of business analytics to establish KPIs for performance measurement (e.g., using Tableau).
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a matrix environment and motivate project teams to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Focus on delivering business value rather than just solutions.
  • Capable of managing scope changes and issue resolution with all stakeholders, influencing peers and enterprise-wide stakeholders.
  • Ability to liaise between project teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Proficient in monitoring and communicating project status to senior leadership.
  • Willingness to engage in sedentary activities for extended periods.
  • Statewide and national travel may be required, though it is unlikely.
