We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Electrical Project Coordinator to assist in the execution of numerous data center initiatives for a premier technology client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Familiarity with contemporary project management methodologies within intricate, multi-functional organizations; possess knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, contracting, safety, construction, and commissioning.

Develop and maintain a strong rapport with clients, effectively communicating with both technical and managerial personnel.
Establish and uphold best practices to identify and integrate cost-effective engineering solutions.
Accountable for developing, managing, and reporting on project scope, schedule, and budget.

Oversee assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Prepare presentations for management regarding project progress, findings, and recommendations.
Conduct forensic analysis of existing building systems to enhance facility performance.

Research emerging technologies and assess their feasibility for integration into optimal building applications.

Serve as the primary contact for project development and delivery.

Vendor Management and Compliance:
Oversee vendor performance and management.
Review and approve vendor scopes of work and site/building design plans.
Manage the selection, contracting, and integration of various vendors and internal partners.
Facilitate decision-making processes for clients/sponsors to drive solutions, schedules, and manage necessary changes.
Utilize strategic negotiation skills to identify options and propose solutions.
Ensure compliance with audit findings and recommendations.

Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other project approval documentation.
Collaborate with contractors to establish baseline schedules.
Facilitate and lead project meetings (including OAC meetings) while maintaining accurate minutes and action items.
Evaluate project progress, contractor payment applications, and invoices.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and project management across various facility types (mission-critical, large infrastructure projects, hospitals, schools, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project management, or a related technical field.
Comprehensive understanding of construction and building systems.
Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction processes, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems/components.
Experience in developing diverse reports tailored to different audiences.
Experience in client-facing roles.

Proven ability to comprehend complex construction programs and effectively communicate progress to both technical and managerial personnel.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately to any audience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Construction Management.
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with Earned Value Management.
Active membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar organizations.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Strong background in data center development and construction.
Experience in design, testing, and commissioning is a significant advantage.
