Job Overview

Collinson, a recognized leader in customer benefits and loyalty, is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee the development of new airport lounges in collaboration with a major corporate partner.

This pivotal role entails guiding teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints while exceeding stakeholder expectations. The Senior Project Manager will utilize their extensive knowledge of project management methodologies to monitor and manage project plans across various teams, addressing issues and risks as they arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, fostering motivation and accountability to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through to closure for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Report on project success metrics, including deployment management and testing activities.
  • Engage in creative problem-solving within a collaborative environment, promoting innovation and excellence.
  • Contribute to the development of practices, templates, and tools to enhance project management capabilities within the organization.
  • Prepare detailed project plans and estimates for all project phases.
  • Manage daily project operations and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
  • Proactively monitor project performance, identifying and addressing potential issues and risks.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to senior leadership effectively.
  • Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business requirements.
  • Control project scope and manage changes effectively.
  • Act as an internal quality assurance for project deliverables.
  • Support contract management through formal and informal scheduling.
  • Oversee all aspects of project engagement, including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, and budget management.
  • Set and manage expectations for project deliverables, delegating tasks to team members and stakeholders.
  • Track and control project outcomes, resolving conflicts and dependencies as necessary.
  • Develop and present progress reports, proposals, and documentation to various stakeholders.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status updates from the project team, analyzing results and addressing challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in airport construction, operations, or lounge management.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects across various functional areas and vendors.
  • Deep understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt and improve existing processes during periods of rapid growth.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across multiple business and technology domains.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with business leaders to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing demands.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and Smartsheet.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in leading diverse project teams, holding members accountable for performance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to manage shifting priorities and timelines effectively.
Essential Requirements
  • 6+ years of proven project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to work in-office part-time.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
Desirable Attributes
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with the airport transportation industry and lounge operations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
