About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Jones IT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, software, and network problems related to functionality, connectivity, management, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with team members to proactively collect and share experiences, tools, and information to maximize efficiency and teamwork.
  • Document solutions and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

  • Ability to absorb new knowledge and apply it to solve problems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Sensitivity to clients' needs and ability to develop warm client relationships.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people in simple language.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • College degree in a related field.
  • Customer service experience and knowledge of operating systems, desktop applications, and basic networking.
