We are in search of a Senior Product Manager to spearhead our product and application security strategy, propelling our ad-tech business forward. Key Responsibilities:

As a vital part of our team, you will influence essential investments in platform security, access management, and overall risk mitigation at The Trade Desk. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating and executing a comprehensive security roadmap that aligns with business goals and addresses emerging threats.
  • Independently identifying vulnerabilities, evaluating risks, and leading the creation of effective mitigation strategies.
  • Staying informed about industry security standards and ensuring our platform complies with these regulations.
  • Overseeing the design and implementation of robust access control mechanisms to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Collaborating with engineering, legal, cybersecurity, and operations teams to cultivate a security-first culture and ensure the seamless integration of security measures.
  • Translating security and access concerns into actionable product features while encouraging innovation within the team.
  • Working closely with various departments across The Trade Desk to promote shared security responsibilities and support our Cyber Security group in establishing a leading security operation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on information security.
  • Strong grasp of security principles, risk management frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with cloud security architectures and data protection regulations.
  • A builder mentality with a robust technical background.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.
  • Successful history of product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • A deep care and concern for others, including teammates, coworkers, direct reports, and customers.
