Senior Manager, Inventory Development Specialist

The Trade Desk is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Inventory Development. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with key publisher organizations, building strategic business plans, and driving growth in transparent access, addressability, decisioning, and bottom-line revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Grow Programmatic Inventory Access: Develop and maintain relationships with key publisher partners to establish and grow programmatic inventory access and value of decisioning across various points of distribution.
- Build Strategic Business Plans: Collaborate with publisher partners to build strategic business plans for overall growth in transparent access, addressability, decisioning, and bottom-line revenue.
- Monitor Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and communicate The Trade Desk's position to partners.
- Evangelize Identity Strategies: Evangelize and support adoption of identity strategies and addressability, including Unified ID 2.0.
- Lead Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with publisher partners across initiatives.
- Coordinate Cross-Team Support: Coordinate with Inventory Management and Technical Account Management for successful cross-team support and growth of partnerships.
- Communicate Value Proposition: Understand and communicate The Trade Desk's value proposition and technology to partners.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required.
- Programmatic Experience: 4-7 years of programmatic experience in publisher business development for SSPs, data companies, media companies, or other related organizations.
- Track Record of Closing Deals: A track record of closing deals is essential.
- Established Relationships: Established relationships with decision-makers at top digital publishers and a deep understanding of the sell side of digital advertising.
- Collaboration Skills: Experience collaborating across Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, Legal & Finance teams.
- Self-Starter: A self-starter able to seek new partnerships or initiatives and lead a project from start to finish.
- Strategic Partnership Goals: Experience building and delivering on strategic partnerships goals.
- Ownership and Action: A bias toward ownership and action.
- Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative skills and negotiation abilities.
- Communication Skills: Proven communication, questioning, and listening skills in formal and informal settings.
