Auto Damage Claims Adjuster

Job Summary
GEICO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auto Damage Trainee to join our team. As an Auto Damage Trainee, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing vehicle damage caused by accidents, estimating repair costs, and negotiating equitable settlements with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine the extent of repairs needed
- Estimate repair costs and negotiate settlements with customers
- Partner with other adjusters and supervisors to work with body shops, rental partners, and parts providers
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry-leading auto-adjusting tools and technology
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits
- Flexibility to work in different environments, including remote or in-office settings
- Solid computer, mechanical aptitude, and multi-tasking skills
- Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing
