Position Summary

We are interested in hiring a field adjuster with a background in either residential or commercial claims, possessing a minimum of 1 year of field experience.

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting.
  • Must have current estimating software - Xactimate is preferred (experience with Symbility is a plus).
  • Access to a working computer with internet capabilities and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills are essential.
  • Experience in drafting Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters.
  • Possession of a valid Georgia State adjusters license.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough field inspections for residential and commercial properties using Xactimate software.
  • Investigate claims by gathering recorded statements from insured parties, claimants, or witnesses, and by interviewing relevant officials while assessing damages.
  • Recommend claim reserves based on investigations, supported by a detailed reserve report.
  • Acquire and interpret official documentation.
  • Review relevant coverage forms and endorsements, providing a comprehensive analysis of coverage and any potential issues in a well-documented initial report.
  • Ensure high-quality work through adherence to established best practices.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of property and liability insurance coverage and industry standards.
  • Ability to compile full-captioned reports by gathering and summarizing necessary information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A college degree is advantageous.
  • Professional designations such as AIC, IICRC, HAAG, or others are preferred but not mandatory.
