As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our independent agents to resolve claims in a timely and fair manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine coverage and liability
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations, including interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to ensure accurate settlements
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software and company resources to adjust losses in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to our policyholders and agents
  • Work collaboratively with our team to resolve complex claims and provide solutions to our customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • One or more years of claims handling experience preferred
  • AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license required
