Position Summary: Lazard is looking for a Senior Vice President to join our Consumer, Food, and Retail Private Market Advisory team.

In this role, you will deliver financial advisory services to both public and private entities, including founder-owned, entrepreneur-led, and private equity-backed clients within the food and beverage supply chain, as well as the consumer products and services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and engage in new business presentations
  • Interact with senior executives of clients
  • Conduct valuation analysis and financial modeling
  • Develop marketing materials, including confidential offering memoranda and management presentations
  • Facilitate extensive client interactions at various levels
  • Manage sales processes, including overseeing the due diligence process
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of Analysts and Associates

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of substantial M&A investment banking experience, preferably with significant exposure to the food/consumer sector
  • An MBA is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong academic credentials with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Exceptional writing abilities
  • Robust foundational skills, including advanced financial modeling and data analysis
