Business Development Director - Drayage

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at CS Recruiting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, market research, and sales activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Represent our client professionally and skillfully, finding new business opportunities and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Conduct market research and sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Create sales materials, deliver customer presentations, and achieve sales goals using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the sales pipeline, use personal network to acquire new customers, and negotiate contracts.
  • Visit potential customers regularly, support new customers with setup, and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Engage with current customers to grow and retain business, travel across the USA territory, and participate in trade shows.
  • Record business transactions, update account activities, and literature as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing (master's preferred) with a minimum of ten years of related sales experience in ocean drayage.
  • Proficiency in group presentations, numerical data presentation, and balancing team and individual responsibilities.
