Position Overview:

The Overseas Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project design and construction initiatives, ensuring adherence to schedules, budget allocations, and daily operational management. This role includes assessing and managing contractor performance, collaborating with on-site personnel, and handling project change requests effectively. Regular updates on project status will be provided, along with comprehensive communication to clients, management, and stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing international design and construction projects.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management tools such as Maximo for data entry and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Expertise in monitoring project timelines and financial plans, providing technical support on construction-related matters, guiding design processes, and overseeing maintenance programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including to high-risk locations.
  • Capability to prepare Contractor Performance Reports (CPR) at the conclusion of contracts.
  • Support the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Technical Representative (COTR) in acquisition planning and execution.
  • Assist in conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site assessments with the COTR.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) in facilities project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Maximo or similar project management software.
  • Experience in optimizing project performance, cost, and timelines while meeting user requirements.
  • Knowledge of integrating various systems, including IT, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Experience in providing invoicing support to the COTR for payment processing.
  • Understanding of project scheduling methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to conduct design evaluations with clients.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security evaluation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation Structure

Compensation at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this role is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 annually. This range reflects typical compensation and is part of our comprehensive benefits package.

Work Flexibility

  • If the position is remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site.
  • If the position is onsite, in-person collaboration with colleagues and clients will be required as necessary.
