Overseas Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project design and construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and daily operational management. Assess and monitor contractor performance. Collaborate and coordinate with on-site personnel. Review, authenticate, and manage requests for project modifications. Deliver official weekly updates on project status. Prepare and disseminate project communications to clients, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing international design and construction initiatives.
- Proficient in the timely entry of all relevant data, comments, and documentation into project management tools such as Maximo throughout the project lifecycle.
- Skilled in tracking project timelines and financial plans, offering technical support on contracting and construction matters, guiding design efforts, endorsing construction documents for approval, and overseeing subsequent maintenance programs.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including to high-risk regions.
- Competence in preparing Contractor Performance Reports (CPR) upon project completion.
- Ability to assist the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) in acquisition planning, execution, and management.
- Capable of supporting the CO and COTR during pre-bid and pre-construction site evaluations.
- Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities project management in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Maximo or similar project management software.
- Experience in enhancing performance, cost-efficiency, and scheduling to ensure project goals are met effectively.
- Knowledge in integrating various systems, including IT, telecommunications, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Experience in providing invoicing support to the COTR for payment processing.
- Understanding of project scheduling methodologies and tools.
- Ability to conduct design assessments with clients.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security evaluation and may need to meet criteria for access to classified information.
