Position Overview:

The Overseas Construction Project Manager will oversee the design and execution of construction initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and daily operational management. This role involves assessing contractor performance and facilitating effective collaboration with on-site personnel. The manager will also review and authorize project modifications, while delivering weekly updates on project progress.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing international design and construction projects.
  • Skilled in utilizing project management tools, specifically Maximo, for comprehensive data entry and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Expertise in tracking project timelines and financials, offering technical support on contracting and construction matters, guiding design processes, and ensuring the approval of construction documentation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including to high-risk regions.
  • Capability to generate Contractor Performance Reports (CPR) upon project completion.
  • Support the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) in acquisition strategies and project administration.
  • Assist the CO and COTR in conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site evaluations.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities project management in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Maximo or similar project management software.
  • Experience in enhancing project performance, cost efficiency, and scheduling to meet objectives effectively.
  • Knowledge of integrating various systems, including IT, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Experience in preparing invoices and supporting documentation for the COTR.
  • Understanding of project scheduling methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to conduct design evaluations with clients.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security evaluation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified materials.
