Position Overview
Are you enthusiastic about overseeing the process of securing new contracts? QinetiQ US is in search of a Senior Capture Manager with a proven track record of competing for and securing complex contracts in support of the Federal Government. Candidates should be well-acquainted with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, adept at executing captures through a multi-phase framework, and capable of leading intricate tasks, including solution development. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of successful wins, a proactive mindset, inquisitiveness, and a desire to lead effectively and compassionately in a dynamic environment. The Senior Capture Manager will guide pursuits from qualification through to proposal submission, reporting to the Corporate Vice President of Capture and collaborating closely with senior leaders across the organization to implement account growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of opportunity capture, from the post-qualification phase to proposal delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in business development, proposals, contracts, and pricing to prepare, present, and advance opportunities through a defined acquisition framework.
- Develop and implement customer engagement plans to outline opportunities and timelines while validating our solutions.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, assess the competitive landscape, and, if necessary, secure partners to enhance the QinetiQ solution.
- Lead the formulation of win themes, technical and management solutions, pricing strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Interpret solicitation requirements, terms, and conditions.
- Achieve or surpass established performance objectives in support of overall corporate growth and success.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience delivering consulting and professional services to federal and private sector clients.
- Demonstrated success in leading and winning captures within the federal market.
- Possession of an active TOP SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active involvement in relevant industry associations.
