Territory Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Mechanic to join our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. As a Territory Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing high-volume light mechanical work and occasional medium-level repairs across our auction locations.
You will travel frequently to our auction branches, working closely with our Auction Managers and District Managers to ensure that our vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Travel and Repair Work: Travel to designated auction branches to perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring that they are in good working condition.
- Parts Management: Manage parts ordering, reconciliation, and returns with national parts suppliers, ensuring that we have the necessary parts to complete repairs efficiently.
- Vehicle Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate vehicle records, including repair histories and maintenance schedules.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with Auction Managers and District Managers to ensure that repairs are completed to a high standard and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to your supervisor to enhance our repair processes and procedures.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience performing vehicle maintenance or possession of an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school with 2+ years' automotive mechanic experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver's License and automotive required insurance.
- Skills: Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, and Email. Ability to work without direct supervision and to read reports, weather forecasts, and set plans accordingly to maximize your time and success.
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles. Ability to work outside in various extreme temperature weather conditions.
