In this position, you will oversee the quality of your business portfolio and address challenges to drive profitable growth within your territory. By establishing yourself as a trusted advisor, you will gain insights into the agency's objectives and align our products with their needs.

This role is a hybrid position that includes a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and credit card, with a significant amount of travel required within your territory.

Territory: Tennessee and Kentucky. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively to meet with all agencies in this area, including overnight travel approximately 2-3 nights per week.

Home Office Location: Nashville, TN and surrounding areas.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma/GED or higher with at least six years of experience in outside business-to-business sales or territory management.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Compliance with Progressive's driving standards and policies is required.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance are mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in outside business-to-business sales with a proven ability to advocate for and influence positive outcomes.
  • Strong independent work ethic and efficient management of weekly schedules, ideally from prior field-based roles.
  • Ability to leverage formal and informal networks to achieve objectives and analyze data sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with sales or customer relationship management tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Compensation:
  • Annual salary range of $84,000-$101,000.
  • Potential Gainshare bonus of up to 30% based on company performance.
