Position Overview: The Senior Behavior Technician plays a crucial role in the STRIVE clinic, providing leadership and oversight in the absence of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This full-time position involves managing the clinic's schedule, developing educational plans, and updating treatment objectives as necessary. The Senior Behavior Technician is responsible for executing individual treatment and behavior support plans while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Duties: Maintain a minimum of 28 billable hours per week, deliver direct services to clients as per their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document data accurately.
  • Program Management: Collaborate with BCBAs to create and update program materials, assist in training new staff, and ensure that all clinical documentation is completed timely.
  • Supervisory Role: Act as the on-site supervisor during the absence of the Clinic Director, ensuring that all staff engage effectively with clients and maintain high-quality programming.
  • Environmental Standards: Ensure that the clinic environment meets regulatory standards and is conducive to learning, with appropriate materials and resources available.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings is essential.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours is necessary.
