Job Summary

Mastech Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Calibration Technician to join our team. As a Senior Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex work related to the calibration of laboratory equipment and instrumentation in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and service of laboratory equipment and instrumentation in a cleanroom, laboratory, manufacturing facility, production area, or on systems requiring calibration services.
  • Provide calibration and possibly other services as needed by the customer, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Operate a variety of equipment and instruments, including Centrifuges, Incubators, Refrigerators, freezers, bioreactors, pH meters, Conductivity meters, Temperature instruments, Pressure instruments, Humidity instruments, HVAC, Scales and Balances, Pipettes, Laser Particle Counters, Air Samplers, Dissolution Apparatus, Spectrophotometers, KF Titrators, Coulometers, Calipers, Micrometers, Mass Flow Controllers, and Dissolved Oxygen.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of calibration services.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to calibration and quality control.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 17025 accredited Quality System and all customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and quality initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related technical area as a Senior Calibration Technician.
  • Combination of training and experience is used to determine the sufficient skill requirements for an individual to be permitted to perform tasks.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to calibration and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in GxP, IndySoft CCMS, field service, and OSHA training and experience preferred.
