As an Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of individuals facing challenges related to addiction, mental health, and eating disorders. In this capacity, you will conduct professional assessments of Renewal Health Group's services for prospective clients and their families. Your responsibilities will include managing inquiries, detailing service offerings and associated costs, performing telephonic assessments, and providing insights on regulatory compliance.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Remote position with occasional onsite meetings or training sessions.
- Afternoon to evening shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inquiries from referrals, articulate service offerings and costs, conduct intake assessments, and guide clients on regulatory matters.
- Communicate effectively about Substance Abuse, Mental Health, and Eating Disorder services.
- Document all communications and lead details in the database.
- Achieve established targets for call volume, conversion rates, and overall productivity by efficiently managing inquiries.
- Follow up on leads using appropriate methods to enhance conversion rates.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company protocols and procedures related to intake and admissions.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations and updates in the industry.
- Adhere to established Admission Guidelines.
- Participate in required team meetings.
- Expected to be present in a collaborative workspace for a minimum of 15 hours weekly.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- At least one year of sales experience is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a treatment center setting focusing on substance use, mental health, or eating disorders is required.
- EXPERIENCE IN TREATMENT CENTER ADMISSIONS IS MANDATORY
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly in various situations; adept at listening and providing clarification.
- Proficient in computer and telephonic communication.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Candidates in recovery should have a minimum of two years of sobriety.
Pre-Employment Conditions:
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, TB screening, and drug testing. A clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) are required. Additional requirements include DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or exemption and submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement. A clean background is essential.
- Renewal Health Group mandates vaccinations for employees, with exceptions only as legally required (e.g., medical or religious).
