Job Description
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries for the AVP, ensuring seamless logistics and timely arrangements.
  • Provide high-level administrative support, including oversight of office supplies, breakroom maintenance, and machine billing.
  • Promote smooth operations within the Chancellor suite by collaborating with other support staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent with five years of increasing complex administrative experience, or two years of post-secondary education with three years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of department policies, procedures, and goals, as well as basic leadership approaches such as work scheduling and prioritizing.
  • Demonstrated editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Duke Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
