Role Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Evaluate patient conditions during the recovery phase, noting and reporting any changes in status.
  • Carry out procedures as directed by medical professionals.
  • Accurately document care provided in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment pertinent to post-surgical care.

Qualifications Required

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida or recognized Compact Licensure.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from recognized organizations.
  • Preferred advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving patients and equipment.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in acute care, specifically in PACU or ICU settings.
  • Availability for on-call duties, residing within a reasonable distance from the facility.
