Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Evaluate patient conditions during recovery from anesthesia, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
- Execute procedures as directed by the medical team.
- Document care provided in the patient's medical record accurately and promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to post-surgical care.
Qualifications Required
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from an accredited provider.
- Preferred advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- A minimum of one year of experience in acute care hospital PACU or ICU settings.
- Availability for on-call duties, residing within a reasonable distance from the facility.
