Hire Resolve's client is a prominent Multi-disciplinary Engineering firm actively seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineering Specialist.


Key Responsibilities:


Conduct field construction observations and testing, manage the logging and sampling of exploratory borings and test pits, perform field mapping, execute various soil laboratory tests, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.

There is an opportunity to engage in diverse geotechnical consulting tasks, including plan reviews, analytical assessments, and the preparation of technical deliverables, with the potential to transition into a project management role following the acquisition of field experience.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth within the organization. Compensation will be aligned with experience.

Typically, the role involves approximately 40 hours of work per week (with seasonal variations), and there may be opportunities for seasonal overtime.

We prioritize and promote ongoing education and professional development.

Most of the work performed in this position can contribute towards State requirements for Professional Engineer (Civil) exam registration, and certain aspects may also be applicable towards Professional Geologist exam registration.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related field.


- Previous experience in geotechnical consulting, particularly in field investigations and/or construction observation/testing, is advantageous; however, qualified entry-level candidates will be considered, and training will be provided.


- Candidates must possess reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.


- Ideal candidates should exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to prepare technical reports, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, be self-motivated, possess a robust work ethic, and enjoy outdoor work.
