Typically approximately 40-hr per week average (+/- seasonally), with opportunity for seasonal overtime We emphasize and encourage continuing education and professional development/advancement. Most work in this position can be applied toward State requirements for Professional Engineer (Civil) exam registration, and portions may be applicable towards Professional Geologist exam registration. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s ) in Geotechnical, Geological Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related course of study. Prior experience in geotechnical consulting (particularly field investigation and/or construction observation/testing) is beneficial, but qualified entry-level candidates will be considered and training will be provided. Candidates must have reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and be proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ideal candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, prepare technical reports, work well both independently and as part of a team, be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and enjoy working outdoors.
