About the Role

The Workday DAE team is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our team as a Digital Account Executive. This role will focus on selling add-on products to the Office of the CFO and CHRO.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing full sales cycles, owning revenue numbers, and working closely with aligned Enterprise Field Account Executives and RSDs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Source and close Workday add-on deals
  • Manage full sales cycles
  • Own revenue number
  • Work successfully with aligned Enterprise Field Account Executive and RSD
  • Constantly fill the pipeline with new deals
  • Deal development & qualification
  • Cold calling and cultivation of existing leads
  • Articulate the Workday value proposition to mid and C-level decision-makers

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with HCM and/or ERP technology
  • Preferred 1+ year in a sales closing role with successful history of relationship building, deal negotiations and territory planning
  • Preferred 2+ years inside or outside sales experience, ideally in enterprise software

  • Technically adept, self-motivated, and driven by results
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with all respective customers

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
