Job Title: Digital Sales Executive

WBUR's Business Partnerships team is seeking a highly creative Digital Sales Executive for its Enterprise Group.

The ideal candidate is smart, ambitious, and naturally curious, with previous experience conceiving of and developing cross-platform partnerships and sponsorships - specifically within the podcast, event, and digital spaces - and a conviction that high-quality, independent journalism is fundamentally important.

The Digital Sales Executive will be an integral part of the Business Partnerships team and reports directly to the Manager, Business Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with primary focus on digital properties and custom content and a secondary on other platforms;
  • Offer solutions that help clients achieve their business goals;
  • Meet set sales targets.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years'+ prior experience in a digital sales role including podcast and/or custom digital content;
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Existing network of client and agency relationships;
  • Prior demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling, networking, and in-person events;
  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets and revenue goals;
  • Proficiency with Google Suite/Microsoft Office.
