Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally welcoming patients both in person and via phone
  • Promptly addressing inquiries or appropriately directing concerns
  • Enhancing provider schedules and patient satisfaction through effective scheduling
  • Informing providers of patient arrivals
  • Reassuring patients by anticipating their concerns and providing clear answers
  • Ensuring the availability of treatment information by managing and updating patient records
  • Verifying financial records and collecting patient payments while processing third-party claims
  • Securing patient authorization for the release of medical records (in compliance with HIPAA)
  • Managing office supplies and equipment by anticipating needs and facilitating orders
Measuring and recording vital signs and performing other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Three years of experience with EMR or EHR systems
  • Over one year of experience in patient scheduling
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while also accepting guidance
Capable of collaborating effectively with administration, providers, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in insurance billing
  • Active CMA or CNA certification
  • Highly motivated with a proactive attitude
Background in healthcare with a focus on patient interaction.
