Advanced Semiconductor Process Developer

nLIGHT is a leading provider of high-power semiconductors and fiber lasers for industrial, microfabrication, and aerospace & defense applications. We are seeking a talented Advanced Semiconductor Process Developer to join our team and contribute to our cutting-edge research and development programs.
Responsibilities:- Drive innovative solutions for novel process designs to solve fabrication challenges
- Collaborate closely with nLIGHT's Epitaxy, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Equipment Engineering, and NPI Groups
- Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience or Bachelor's with 6+ years of experience in chemical, material, photonics, electronics, or related physical sciences field
- Experience in process engineering of electronics or photonics devices
- Hands-on experience with fabrication of electronics or photonics devices: wafer process experience for GaAs/InP photonic devices, especially skills with photo lithography and nano lithography, Wet-/Dry-etching, oxide film deposition, sputter coating, and metal evaporation process/equipment
- Strong knowledge of properties of III-V semiconductors, especially GaAs/InP preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing process control tools and methods such as SPC, DFM, FMEA, etc. Design-of-experiment (DOE) methodology and statistics-based data analysis in support of R&D programs
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Starting salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 annually
- Target cash bonus of 5% of your wages
