Salary Information

The salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the software development team activity through effective coaching and mentorship.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are met and delivered accurately.
  • Provide regular project status updates and address any project requirements, issues, or changes.
  • Evaluate software products, provide peer review, and solutions to related code.
  • Adhere to a set standard of development principles and deliver timely and on-budget solutions.
  • Define phases in the product life cycle, including activities and milestones.
  • Create documentation processes such as project event and risk logs or any other reporting needed.
  • Participate in project review meetings to provide updates on progress.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment for the seamless implementation of current systems.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and practice with scripting languages (i.e., Python, PHP, JavaScript, Bash, Batch).
  • Strong knowledge and practice with object-oriented languages (i.e., Python, Java, C#, Go).
  • Strong HTML and CSS knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies preferred.
  • Learns quickly and adapts to rapidly changing environments.
  • Pays attention to detail with a capacity to review large amounts of data for accuracy.
  • Maintains professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships.
  • Accurately performs multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.
  • Maintains confidential and meticulous records.

Education and Experience Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required or equivalent education or experience.
  • Five years of experience in software development with a minimum of one year leading a development team.
